Project Details

On World Environment Day, Green Globe Realisation marked the occasion with a transformative tree planting activity in Wajir, aligning with the global theme of “Land Restoration, Desertification, and Drought Resilience.” The event brought together students, community members, local leaders, and partners to plant hundreds of indigenous tree seedlings at Shaletey Secondary School and surrounding areas. By restoring degraded land and increasing green cover in this arid region, the initiative aimed to combat desertification, support biodiversity, and raise awareness on the importance of environmental stewardship at the grassroots level.
